What's New?​​​​


  • Congratulations to MHS Jazz Ensemble and Mr. Gary Piazza for receiving a SILVER medal at the MAJE (Massachusetts Association of Jazz Educators) State Festival held at Norwood HS on March 18!  Additional congratulations to Justin Bartlett, Alto Saxophone, for receiving the Outstanding Musicianship Award. Videos of their performance are below.














  • Congratulations to MHS Jazz Ensemble and Mr. Gary Piazza for achieving a GOLD medal at the Senior Central District MAJE Festival held on March 8th.  This standing affords the group to continue competing at the state level.  The MAJE State competition is Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Norwood HS. In addition the following students received "Outstanding Musicianship" Awards at the Central District Festival:

    Justin Bartlett - alto saxophone
    John Naoum - drum set
    Matthew Pearl - tenor saxophone

  • Congratulations to the following MHS students who have been named Symphony Hall Scholars and will participate in the 2016-2017 All-State Music Concert at Boston Symphony Hall March 11th!

N.E. Voices 2017


  • ​On January 27th & 28th, Voices ReChoired participated in a two-day high school A Cappella festival. Below are some pictures and a video of their performance.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • We are looking for a new Volunteer Coordiator for the 2017-2018 school year. This position involves  calling/emailing parents and community members to help with such tasks as football & concert concessions, walking with the bands during parades and transporting instruments. Train with our current coordinator Sharon Levy this school year. For more information, contact Marlene Manell at mrmanell@gmail.com

Current Volunteer Opportunity

  • The Paradise City Arts Festival will be at the Royal Plaza Trade Center in Marlborough later this week. The Music Association runs the coat check with all proceeds going to the Music Association. Hours are Friday 3/24 from 10am to 5pm, Saturday 3/25 from 10am to 6pm and Sunday 3/26 from 11am to 5pm.
